Welcome to 2018

Feb 02, 2018

I know I am not supposed to say it because we are in the second month of the year, but….I have a rebellious side, so……Happy New Year!

I hope that, however you chose to spend the holiday season, it has set you up for the adventure of 2018.

You may or may not be a fan of new year’s resolutions. I used to be a big fan, but I now know that any time of the year is the time to make shifts, welcome growth and became more of who I want to be – for myself, my family and my communities.

Every year I choose areas of my life that I want to step up in. I articulate the goal clearly, check in that it is as exciting as it is scary, set a by-when date, and take the first action as soon as I can.

And one of my first action is to call my coach. Yes, that’s right, I have a coach.

I have a coach for two reasons: first, because I am a credentialed coach, and all tuned-in coaches have coaches (including my coach); and second, because even as a coach, I also need a safe space in which I can turn up and share my dreams, my challenges, my goals, my confusions and all my humanness.

The power of this relationship is priceless to me. She has supported me in so many varied ways.

Sometimes, my goals are patchy to begin with, and she helps me to flesh them out in line with my values. Sometimes, she reminds me of who I am and what I am committed to in the world. And sometimes, she just lets me vent.

It keeps me focused and able to do the work I do with passion, gratitude and commitment.

It also allows me to live all areas of my life with the same passion, gratitude and commitment.

So, what about you?

Do you have that space?

This is not about having great friends, or a great partner; this is about a safe space without judgement, where there is no agenda, and where you will be supported no matter what you bring to the table.

If you are interested in making this space for yourself, so that 2018 can be the year you shift how you experience yourself, and how you live and create your life, book in for a complimentary discovery session with me.

Simply email me [email protected], and we will spend 45 minutes looking at where you are now, where you would like to be in the future, and how I could support you to get there.

I have limited availability for coaching spots this half of the year, so if support is what you need, take action now.

Wishing you a weekend full of internal rest. xx

Client feedback:

“I don’t even think that I was consciously aware of just how unhappy I was before I started working with Kemi. I thought that I was just a little lost in life, that my life was ok but that it lacked passion.
With coaching, I have become so much more conscious of what is limiting me in life. I now feel healthier and happier, clearer in what I want and what is most important to me. I have begun to create deeper, more authentic connections with the people I care about, and am so much more hopeful about the future. I am so happy to say that I am truly excited about my life now.” – Meagan Rigby

“What a ride it has been! When I began I was overwhelmed and scattered about my direction in life, I am now focussed and aligned, with my goals of financial, time and location freedom about to be realised, I can now taste it, it is so so close. I am in the process of creating 2 online businesses which are about to launch. My day job is about to be a thing of the past.
Kemi coaxed me to shine my creative side, helped me realise my power and vision and encouraged me to trust the process of life. Kemi is a powerful coach, she is supportive, no-nonsense and also kept me accountable. I love her coaching style, she has many great tools in her toolkit. Thank you Kemi.” – Annie Slater

“Having had Kemi as a coach was both positive and empowering. After each of our weekly sessions, I had another bag of tools I was able to use and focus not only on my business but also on myself. I felt better equipped to make business choices (some of which I wouldn’t have thought of myself) and with her help, I was able to come up with some very practical actions to take.

Kemi is tough and compassionate at the same time. She will tell you how it is and how you come across in a conversation which is great because you want a coach that will move you into action and not listen to why you can’t do something but will focus on how you can do it.” -Tatiana Kooraram
